The Department of Public Safety (DPS) charges a $72.00 fee to complete the background check and issue the guard card. You will also need to submit Fingerprints and Two (2) Passport Photos to DPS We can provide fingerprints and photographs for $20.00. Before you enroll in the course be sure that you do not have a Disqualifier that would prohibit you from obtaining an Arizona Guard Card. Generally anyone with a Felony Conviction can not obtain an Arizona Guard Card. Other disqualifiers can be seen on the Arizona Department of Public Safety website at www.azdps.gov.
