Unarmed Guard Card Training

The Unarmed Guard Card class is an 8-hour course available online or in-person. Upon completion, you'll have the basic knowledge to qualify for the Arizona Unarmed Guard Card. This class also satisfies the bi-yearly renewal requirements.

Fees:

  • The Department of Public Safety (DPS) charges a $72.00 fee for the background check and to issue the guard card.

  • You will also need to submit fingerprints and two passport photos to DPS.

  • Fingerprinting and photo services are available through us for $20.00.

Important:
Before enrolling, ensure you do not have any disqualifying factors that would prevent you from obtaining an Arizona Guard Card. Felony convictions typically disqualify applicants. For more details on other disqualifiers, visit the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) website at www.azdps.gov.
